Established in 1980, ours is the oldest kitchen and bath design firm owned and operated by a registered architect in Texas. We bring the experienced garnered from more than 28 years of success to every kitchen, bath, and home remodeling or new construction project we undertake.

Philip E. Rudick—he prefers Phil—has been a registered architect since 1973, first in Pennsylvania, later in Ohio, and today in Texas. His education, training, and experience allows him to provide more than just space planning. He can provide remodeling and new construction design for your entire home or office, and he is able to guide your project from conception to completion.

After receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1969 from Kent State University, Phil immediately went to work for an architectural firm in Pittsburgh, Pa. that specialized in commercial and institutional architecture. He then moved to Johnstown, Pennsylvania in 1971 to serve as Chief Architect for Crown American Corporation designing shopping malls and hotels. It was there that he began his private practice in residential and retail store design. In 1977 he relocated to Austin, Texas to serve as Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas in the school of engineering for 10 years before deciding to dedicate his full time to private practice.

Phil is quietly passionate about his work with a low-key, meticulous approach to space planning. He is happy to work with other architects and interior designers to complete your project, and he treats each project as an extension of his client’s tastes, not his own—he starts every job by listening.

Dewils is another high quality affordable custom cabinet that we have carefully selected to be part of our product line. They offer both European, inset and traditionally crafted cabinets in custom sizes with an extensive styling range that includes both modern, transitional, traditional, and old world.
